Return & Refund Policy

At Hype Liquors, we comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale and shipment of alcoholic beverages. Due to the regulated nature of alcohol, the following return and refund terms apply.

All Alcohol Sales Are Final

All alcoholic beverage sales are final once an order has shipped. We do not accept returns or exchanges for alcohol products except in the limited cases outlined below.

Eligible Refund & Replacement Situations

Refunds or replacements may be issued only under these conditions:

1) Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives significantly damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Clear photos of the damaged item(s), shipping box, and packaging are required.
  • After verification, we may issue a refund or replacement at our discretion.
  • Minor leaks, cosmetic wear, or label imperfections are not eligible.

2) Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Opened, partially consumed, or unopened alcohol products (unless damaged/incorrect as above)
  • Orders that have already shipped (unless damaged/incorrect)
  • Failed delivery due to age verification or signature refusal
  • Returns caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
  • Damage caused by weather or temperature conditions during transit
  • Clearance/final sale items, promotional items, or gift cards

Order Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before shipment may be eligible for a refund minus a 10% processing fee.
  • Orders that have shipped cannot be canceled.

Returned Shipments & Delivery Failures

If an order is returned due to:

  • Failed age verification (21+ required)
  • Signature not obtained at delivery
  • Incorrect address provided by the customer

You may be responsible for return shipping and handling costs. Any refund issued may be reduced by applicable fees.

Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Processing time may vary depending on your bank or card provider.

Legal Compliance & Age Requirement

By placing an order, you confirm you are 21 years of age or older and legally permitted to purchase alcohol in your jurisdiction. Hype Liquors reserves the right to cancel orders that do not comply with local, state, or federal alcohol delivery laws.
